Hi Everyone. I wanted to share a few nice photos from the last week of Noah’s life. There’s some nice little stories with a couple of them too. This is Bill Keys, an old friend of Bari’s from her college days. He was out on the Pearl St. Mall with a small table and a typewriter from 1927, writing poems for anyone who wanted one. Here’s an update of Noah at school today: “Today’s activity was planting bulbs in pots. This week we will continue focusing on Mother Earth, everything she offers us and how to take care of her responsibly. All children have had a fantastic day. We even had it “rain rice” today by accident! One small child thought it was a great idea to make it “rain rice” at the rice table this morning. They all had a fantastic time making it “rain”...

Twice now, during our stay here, Noah has been mobbed by groups of local teenage girls. It’s really quite something…they get so excited to see him, their cameras come flying out, and they all pose with him for photos. Then the bring us into the photos at the end. They are giggling and saying “Hola Noah,” “Noah, look over here,” trying to get him to look at the camera. I don’t think they see many young blond, cute kids from the states very often....

Noah had his first birthday party last night up here at the cottage! Most of the family was here and wow, was the cake every good. He absolutely loves his new stacking game from Uncle Greg, Auntie Veronika, and cousins Anna and Valerie. Surprisingly, he was more in to the balloon than the cake. Pretty amazing that it’s been a year already. He’s now talking a good deal, mostly one word at a time, and he does the sign language word for “milk” quite often. As soon as we...
