I’m also writing this blog for Noah, for an older version of Noah that doesn’t exist yet. One day when he is much older, I want him to be able to look back through this blog and be able to see his life unfold before him. I have lost so many memories from when I was growing up, and I don’t want the same thing to happen to him.

This blog, then, is a kind of trail, a path full of experiences in his life. Perhaps one day when he can read and write, he’ll blog in it with me, and eventually take it over himself.

And mostly, I write this blog out of love for him, for Mama Bari, and all of our family.
